I started The Holistic Skin Specialist to share my life long passion for skincare and to help others avoid falling into the skincare pitfalls that I learned through my own journey to healthier skin. I wanted to create a space that prioritizes true skin longevity, focusing on nourishing and strengthening the skin rather than breaking it down. Working in the TV and film industry for over a decade producing shows like MTV's The Hills, Catfish: The TV Show, Rachel Zoe’s Resale Royalty, and ESPN’s X Games, as well as Executive Producing the feature film Not Since You.  The high-stress job took a toll on my skin—I experienced constant breakouts, a poor diet, and the effects of constantly moving between different environments. I was drawn into countless quick-fix treatments—peeling, lasering, and injecting my face year after year—yet my skin wasn’t truly improving.

At the same time, I saw firsthand the real condition of the talent’s skin beneath the heavy makeup and lighting used to mask it, reinforcing my belief that true skin health comes from within, not just from surface treatments.
